Robson Square Ice Rink – Skating Is Free, Start A Tradition

The Robson Square Ice Rink is open December 1st, 2017  until the end of February 2018 (so you can take your Valentine on Valentine’s Day!). This open air ice rink in the heart of Downtown Vancouver is open daily. Almost a ‘best kept secrets’, a great and often uncrowded way to introduce kids and young-at-hearts to ice skating.

History of Robson Square Ice Rink: The rink was an integral part of renowned architect Arthur Erickson’s 1982 plan for Robson Square, which includes a court house, convention centre and the Vancouver Art Gallery. It’s situated on the lower plaza of the complex in a partially covered but open-air facility.
