Honda Celebration of Light – Fireworks Dates July 26, July 30, August 2, 2014
The Honda Celebration of Light is not only Vancouver’s biggest event, but it’s also the largest offshore fireworks competition in the world and attracts up to 400,000 spectators along English Bay each evening. Owned by the Not For Profit Vancouver Fireworks Festival Society, 2014 marks the 24th consecutive year of the event, which contributes in excess of $39 million in incremental tourism and hospitality spending each year.
2014 will bring 3 new countries to Vancouver, guaranteed to put on world class Pyro-Musical performances each night.
Participating countries and other event details will be announced in late April 2014 – Check back soon for updates!
The shows kick off right at 10:00PM on each night of the event, and each show will last 25 minutes. Don’t be late!
There are a number of hotels in the West End that have viewing points of the Fireworks but they book up quickly! Check out the Sandman on Davie St., Coast Plaza Hotel and Suites on Denman and Comox and others at: http://www.tourismvancouver.com/stay/search-hotels/
